Properly as new technology gets such wonderful stuff today that wasn’t invented or available before.

  2. By that measure Israel should be forced to return all the land it stole in 1948 & 1967 $ 1972 and …. Sauce for the goose.

    1. I love history. There was no “stolen” land. The Zionists who settled in British Palestine before and after World War I bought the land from the Arab landlords (often at inflated prices) because they wanted to be back in the biblical land of Israel. Again, this land often proved to be the crappiest land available. But, the Zionists/Jews went to work, drained the swamps, used their brains and created fertile fields for the kibbutz. Only then did the Palestinians (who were the dispossessed renters of the land from the Arab landlords) cry “foul” and that they had been robbed.
This has been, is and will be the way of the world. When something becomes valuable/productive because a group of people invested their time, hard work and intelligence to overcome obstacles, then the original “owners” of said property become incensed and claim theft. It is this way in western Canada with the native aboriginal populations who were nomads. They would move into an area, deplete the resources without renewing the fertility of the land or would overhunt the buffalo population and then would move on to do the same elsewhere. Now that the land is productive and now that there is mining (potash, uranium, lithium, oil and gas), all of a sudden the Indians have been robbed. This is why I do not support the NDP. That party is one of envy and a bunch of whiners who always say “Oh! You are so lucky!” when you (and I am thinking of my life history) have worked hard, saved money, bought property, fixed it up and then have sold it for a profit.

    2. And the Arabs settled in “Palestine” by the Turks, should return to where they came from.

The “Palestinians” who Joe Albertan told us were Philistines. should return to the Aegean.

And the Mohamedans should return to Saudi.

    3. Stolen… what a laugh.
Explain why every place they have gone too. They were kicked out.
No Muslim government wants them. (leaches) and nothing more.

  3. “So, has it become obvious yet? Zelensky needs a commander-in-chief he can control, someone not universally loved by the troops; someone who cannot use those troops at a time of opportunity to ‘march on Kiev’ and oust Zelensky from his citadel. Syrsky appears to fit the perfect prototypical role: undefiant, unpopular, uncharismatic, and most importantly, untempted by political ambitions—the ideal subserviant factotum to Zelensky’s regime.”

Ukraine is a preview of Israel.

Why Canada should restore funding for Palestinian relief agency

    https://www.theglobeandmail.com/opinion/why-canada-should-restore-funding-for-palestinian-relief-agency/article28781261/

…On the direction of then minister of international co-operation Bev Oda, Canada had already reduced its core contribution and, in January, 2010, funding was eliminated entirely. The reason given was that UNRWA was a repository of Hamas-directed radicalism and terrorist activity. As so often, on-the-ground realities had nothing to do with Mr. Harper’s decision; rather it reflected his ideological commitment and community-focused politics.

Canada became the only donor to have ever withdrawn from funding. Main supporters remain a strong group of Western countries – the United States, the European Union, Britain, Germany, Norway, Japan and Australia – plus the oil-rich Arab states. In 2014, the U.S. contributed a total of $408-million (U.S.), including $74-million in special funds for Gaza relief. The same year, Britain provided $95-million and $15-million, respectively. The other countries are in line proportionally. In 2008, according to UNRWA statistics, Canada contributed a total of $28-million but Mr. Harper considered even that too much…

    1. Human Rights Lawyer: UNRWA Is ‘Terrorism-Infested’

      https://pjmedia.com/catherinesalgado/2024/02/08/human-rights-lawyer-unrwa-is-terrorism-infested-n4926255

…Not everyone is convinced, however, despite years of evidence showing Hamas-UNRWA ties — some claim that only a portion of UNRWA has terrorist ties (as if that makes it okay), while a Norwegian politician just nominated UNRWA for the Nobel Peace Prize! But international human rights attorney Hillel Neuer has a strong and damning case against UNRWA…

      1. Most things are ‘terrorism-Infested’ to some degree if you look closely enough. At most large companies, all you have to do is look at the board of directors.
