1. Whistleblowers need to hire Mike Ehrmantraut types to look after them and on the gov’t dime. No, never mind, that’s even worse.
   Spilling the beans is an obvious health hazard.

   2. We got in a headon crash in a pinto. all 4 of us survived, and I didn’t have a seatbelt on. My sister who was driving got banged up bad, the passenger didn’t get a scratch, and in the backseat i lost a tooth.

      Pintos got a bad rap due to a bad journalist( is there any other kind?)

      1. Meh…I tend to think that the Ford Pinto did, indeed, have a design flaw. I think Ford would likely agree with that since they admitted the exact same failing after doing independent testing. There wasn’t any protection between the rear bumper and the gas tank. So, any moderate to severe rearender was likely to spark, and set a ruptured tank on fire. They eventually put a steel bar in there to serve as a barrier, and, also, used rubber bladders to limit leakage.

         But, if you really want a flaming road pile….find your self an old Karmen Ghia. Keep a cooler handy with dogs and burgers to grill up when the rear mounted engine gets belligerent.

3. I have to ask. This guy, John Barnett lived in Louisiana. He was testifying in South Carolina. Presumably, he flew there to testify. So, how did he get a gun? I doubt he would take it with him on a flight.

      And as an out of state resident, he couldn’t buy a gun in SC without first having it shipped to an FFL in Louisiana and then picking it up there after a successful background check!

      So if he didn’t own the gun that killed him, it was OBVIOUSLY murder!!

9. A United Airlines pilot friend of mine (white, late 50s) was recently DEI’d out of his pilot job – he does scheduling now. He loved being a pilot. Voted for Biden. Serves him right.
