      I severely doubt that any airhead Liberal minister even knows about the Munich attack, much less who was responsible. That is, like, history, ya know? So not trendy.
      However, I also severely doubt that even if they had a modicum of awareness, that it would make any difference.
      Again…..it is trendy in certain circles to support Hamas and denigrate Israel. So as with every other policy these idealogues have supported, being seen as trendy by certain people trumps facts, reality, morality, and the good of any people, be it Canada or Israel (the only place in the Middle East where women, gays, minorities, and other groups favoured by leftists have any freedom).
      These liberals disgust me with their stupidity, incompetence, and hatred of all that works and is good in the world.
      Has anybody in the preening press pointed out just who Joly is meeting with? They were all over a photo of PP with someone they did not like a year or so ago.

  24. It’s a moment in time that any well-organized neo-Nazi holocaust denier can pull out of a briefcase if taken to court by the thought police in coming years. Abbas among a number of “accomplishments” once wrote a dissertation (at a Russian university) where he advanced a theory that the Nazis collaborated with Zionists to create the state of Israel.

    I suppose the one argument you could advance to excuse Liberal (or any western gov’t) behaviour of engaging Abbas, is that Abbas is nowadays seen as relatively moderate from an Israeli perspective and if not him, then with whom do you engage among Palestinians? But I hold no real hope that anything good would come of it.
