4. Gosh, this brings back my bus riding days in Vancouver. Most of us queue beautifully and then there are the ancient Chinese ladies who, the moment the bus rolls in, toddle up to the front of the line with a wheeled trolley bag full of shit. Grinning broadly they step up onto the bus – someone always helps them with the trolley – they preemptively stake out two courtesy seats for themselves and ride five blocks. They use our good manners against us and openly laugh at our gullibility. Even their grandchildren can’t stand them but the built in respect is strong.
