  1. Weirder and weirder.

I’m curious as to how the New York Post was able to correctly identify and publish the shooters name before the FBI released any information?

    1. Because the Post doesn’t have to be sure they get it right. They can run facial recognition on the pics they’ve got and scrape social media. If they’re wrong they just print a retraction on pg 6.

The FBI does that too, but if they’re wrong they get in trouble. Theoretically.

      1. I suppose that’s one explanation, I thought that it’s been reported that this 20 year old is remarkable/ strange in that he has no real online social presence?

NY Post must have some amazing facial recognition software.

    2. How does the FBI identify him via DNA in a matter of hours? And from what DNA database? Answer: the FBI LIED … because they already KNEW who he was.

      1. Same way the 9/11 hijackers passports magically turned up for the nightly news on September 11th. Like a midget at a urinal we have to stay on our toes.

        1. That was to save Democracy! Just ask David Frum in The Atlantic:

          Mia Cathell @MiaCathell Jul 14
The Atlantic a day after Trump was nearly assassinated calls him a blood-thirsty fascist dictator.

“Now the bloodshed that Trump has done so much to incite against others has touched him as well.”

“He has conquered and colonized one of the two major parties.”

      2. My wife tells me they discovered the shooters identity by tracing the serial number of the AR purchased by his dad. Now THAT makes sense … and is what the FBI should have said …

        1. You mean via the “non-existent gun registry” ?

Because otherwise, you’d have to call the manufacturer to find out which distributor they sold it to, who would then tell you which store it was sold to, who would then need to have a visit to review the background check forms of the store… of which, only the store would likely be open on a saturday afternoon.

          1. Yeah … we need more stringent gun regulations, don’t we?

And as an aside … you have to hand it to the FBI for putting an AR-15 in the shooters hands … the gun the LEFT want BANNED. Just wait for all the snarky “told you so” smart ass comments about how an AR-15 almost killed you gun lovers POTUS … in 3-2-1 …

        2. If the lunatic was prohibited from owning firearms his father should be charged with one count of murder and three counts of attempted murder.

      3. “And from what DNA database? ”

Possibly Ancestry? I gave them permission to let police imprison or execute all my relatives that they see fit.

      4. Hard to believe Hollywood wasted the entire script of “Shooter II” on The Donald.

  2. My weird meter is pegged.

The police are looking through the house he lived in today. Remember when the police went through Epstein’s house in NYC and … well I guess they didn’t find anything, as indicated by the charges laid.

  3. Next thing you’ll be telling me is that Blackrock holds about $20 Billion in Russian assets while investing over $1 Billion in Ukraine through Kyiv directly for reconstruction with a promissory of about 100 times that through private investment. Someone might see that as opportunistic, and a President coming in to shut down that fiasco of a war might upset the apple cart.

    Nah…that’s crazy talk.

    1. if everyone knew everything and all the truth about jfk aliens deep state mil industrial complex CIA all of it, it would certainly be intersting.
no secrets. epsteins black book published. everyone up on everyone

    2. Orson
Blackrock also has huge investments in China, and Trump will not give a schiff about that when he’s back in the WH

  4. Biden and Democrats 100% responsible. Follow the pattern:

    1) Robert F Kennedy Jr is running for president. Famous Democrat and has repeatedly asked for Secret Service Protection. Biden administration has said NO repeatedly. I was in the US Army back in 1968 overseas when his father was shot and killed by a Palestinian while running for president. Biden is plain scum.
    2) The security yesterday was half assed in Butler PA near Pittsburgh. Trump has asked for beefed up security. The scumbag DEI hire Cheatle, who is totally incapable of running the Secret Service, has with the Biden Admin said NO repeatedly. The assassin was pointed out to the Secret Service and the police by bystanders climbing the building with a gun. They did nothing. The building should have been secured. It was not.
    3) Next week is Milwaukee and the GOP National Convention. The Trump team has asked for a serious perimeter around the convention center. The Secret Service, Milwaukee Democrats have said NO repeatedly. Unless it is changed there will be protests allowed way too close to the Convention Center.

NONE of this is by accident, whatsoever.

    1. thats what lm saying guys there needs to be a massive legitimate groundswell the smartest of the smartest retirees decorated vets mil strategy experts the whole entire shebang make a presentation to Donald a backup wide perimeter system guys vetted up the wazzo determined its NOT gonna happen on their turf on their watch oh look, in 2 months WE GOT THE WHOLE NATION COVERED.

DONALD NEEDS US AND WE SURE AS HECK NEED HIM DO IT DO IT WHO KNOWS HOW TO KICK START THS IM SORRY didnt notice caps lock

      1. a volunteer army overlapping 100% of the voting areas.

why not? you got any ideas?

        lm good for US$100

      2. Well, that particular caplock sequence was almost appropriate. But yes, you would be wise to keep it under control.

    2. #3- Milwaukee was a strange choice for the RNC in the first place. Holding a convention in the middle of enemy territory?

      1. Reince Priebus, former Trump Chief of Staff, picked it. Nashville’s Democrats that run the TN city said no so that sealed the deal.

My family is from there, going back to the 1850’s
Milwaukee is easily the most Left Wing city in the US.
It is the only major city in the US that had Socialist mayors for 40 years of the 20th century. People make fun that Chicago hasn’t had a Republican mayor since the 1930’s. Well, Milwaukee hasn’t since 1908. The place is hopeless. Republicans left for the suburbs decades ago.
I graduated from the U of Wisconsin Milwaukee back in the 1970’s and the school was full of Communists, both students and teachers. I can’t imagine the place today. It’s most famous grad was a world famous hard core Socialist – Golda Meir – Prime Minister of Israel.

Recruiting Antifa types (These Communists prefer Antifa to Communist – funny that) from here to disrupt the Convention will take about 15 minutes.

        1. The whole state is lousy with democrats. Not just Madison and Milwaukee. Every town with more than 10,000 people, I’d bet.

          My Milwaukee story:

Last time I was in Milwaukee it happened to be election day. a community organizer outside Marquette offered me two cartons of cigarettes for an hour of my time. Just get on a bus full of college kids and homeless people, ride out to the suburbs, register and vote

  5. That’s weird. There are NO coincidences … just evidence and coordination. The Mafia had enough money to hire the BEST shooter of JFK … but Blackrock went cheap, and found some young kid they could sacrifice.

    1. Ken Gee
HL Hunt financed the JFK thing, and James Files was Nicoleti’s driver, so a Wopfia guy. CIA provided the gun (fireball XP-100, proto type), and the round, which was modified by the CIA.
Files, was 1 of 2 shooters on the north grassy knoll.

      1. This was their 6th and final option … right? IMHO … to be repeated before the end of 2028. Or … until President Trump completely dismantles our “17 Intelligence Agencies” … whichever occurs first.

    2. Obviously, the 20 year old had to be killed because he was a threat to the lives of everyone within his firing range but he was so young. I wish someone in his life had recognized how dark his thoughts had become and intervened before he went down this terrible path. Was someone involved in leading him down this path? Did someone help him plan and implement the attack? At this point nothing would surprise me.

        1. Frank
Yeah I watched a movie based on that. It genuinely creeped me out and not much bothers me.

          Kenji
If they are targeting confused unstable people, I hope it is uncovered and stopped.

      1. The FBI and CIA … groomed … this kid. Maybe through ANTIFA chat rooms? Maybe through radical leftist blogs? Maybe through TikToc? Anyone who doesn’t believe our Intelligence Agencies CAN and WILL do this … is willfully naive. This was a Deep State operation … just as sure as the “accidental” release of the COVID virus from a Biosafety Level 4 Lab in Communist China … arranged by Fauxci and his subordinates.

      2. I doubt that this fellow was any weirder or more evil than Kyle Rittenhouse – who was not at all weird and the exact opposite of evil. This guy was told by responsible sources that he had to take action to meet the obligation he as a man owed to his country. He just trusted the wrong sources. But they certainly told him that what he was doing was right. They themselves believed it was right, just as Andrew Coyne does.

There could have been some connection between him and the local authorities that encouraged or enabled him. But he wouldn’t have needed it. There may have been a local organization that spotted the opportunity presented by the incompetent security. Or, he might have ridden by on his bike and seen for himself. But he did it because he thought it was the right thing to do. So, we should be addressing ourselves to the people that told him. The guy himself, standing as he is in the fires of Hell and gazing up at the face of the man he murdered, has got other things on his mind.

  6. If you assume that the person they killed was in fact the shooter and I am not completely sold on that then the coincidence makes sense. However if the alleged shooter was just a patsy who couldn’t hit the broadside of a barn with a bucket full of wheat then we might want to look a little farther. Was this a professional hit job that was thwarted by a gust of wind or a sudden movement by Trump…. They need to be finding the real shooter and take away his FBI/CIA credentials.

    1. It doesn’t take a military trained sharpshooter to consistently hit a mellon sized target at 150 yards with an AR15.

There was a time when half the male population in Western Canada above 10 years old could have made that shot with a .22LR. There were plenty of small dead animals out to 100 yards all day every day with open iron sights and gritty triggers back in the day.

So nothing remarkable for a 20 year old with high velocity rounds, optics, a good trigger, and a little practice.

    1. Doing a head shot down hill from 150 yards with a wind blowing and missing by fractions of an inch is not the work of some computer geek with a death wish.

      1. I’m a computer geek and can easily hit a 6″ steel gong at 200 yards, shooting 223 from an inexpensive H&R break-action Handi Rifle with a cheap Bushnell scope (only rifle in my collection where I paid more for the glass than the rifle). An amateur with only a little practice hitting a more-or-less stationary human-sized target at that range is entirely possible.

To all the feds out there currently looking me up: stand down. I no longer have firearms or a license. Lost all that years ago after a suicide attempt after my ex took everything from me. Oddly, the attempt was with a vehicle. Police involved confiscated my RPAL but not my driver’s license. Go figure.

        1. With all due respect, were any friends or allies of the gong going to shoot back at you until you were dead?

          1. The whackjobs who do this stuff know they are going to die — accepting that has a surprising calming effect. My point is that a 150-to-200 yard shot is not that difficult a shot in itself. But I agree with you that most people could not make the shot for the reason you describe: they are not insane and they’d be terrified with the thought of what’s about to happen to them. But add the insanity-induced detachment from reality, and that shot could be made by an amateur shooter.

As for the gongs — they can get rather pissy. They put up with a lot of abuse. Only a matter of time until one of them snaps.

      2. Regardless he missed 5 out of 5, that’s not a sign of professional marksmanship.

  7. No point in commenting. No one cares about freedom and the truth. Forget it, just b e n d o v e r and take it.

    1. “https://www.nytimes.com/2024/07/14/us/politics/photo-path-trump-assassination.html

Quite the photo of a bullet missing Trump.”

I was wondering about that. So, not a .223 ( or .556), then? Since they keep calling at an AR-‘style’ rifle, I’m going to assume that it really was a .22 *rimfire* version (earlier reports just said “.22”, which isn’t helpful). I highly doubt that a regular news camera or cell phone camera would pick up a .223 center fire at the velocities they attain.

      1. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7rr88Szc5q0
At that distance 22LR drops like a cannon ball. Given that his elevation was spot on and only windage was off, it is unlikely he fired .22LR. It was almost certainly a centerfire round. .223 is most likely, there are other exotic options like .204 Ruger, .220 Swift, .22-250 etc but at the distance why complicate things?

      2. @Fred from BC

Several witnesses stated that the deceased father behind Trump had his “brains blown out”. No way a .22 rimfire would have created that amount of damage at that range. Something high velocity, likely a .223Rem/ 5.56 NATO considering the reported AR platform.

        1. PS – that was a NYT photo, I would also agree that they use better cameras than a cellphone.

I wonder if they were anticipating a better “money shot” for their readership than the slow-mo bullet flight path they ended up with.

          1. “PS – that was a NYT photo, I would also agree that they use better cameras than a cellphone.”

Way better. I’m not a camera expert, but I do know that you don’t get high speed motion capture without some kind of tradeoff in resolution, color, brightness or something unless it is a really expensive camera.

  8. I’ll still wait for whatever information we’re allowed to see come in. My first instinct is this is a shot across the bow. Stop the rallies or we’ll stop them. Watch counties or states say we can’t permit this, too much of a security risk like they do at colleges whenever someone’s speaking they don’t like. They did this to Christie Blatchford FFS.

      1. That, especially combined with the people in the crowd trying to alert cops that a man with a rifle was crawling up the roof. I would really like to see the view the SWAT(?) sniper had prior to the shooting. I am trying to think of reasons why he only reacted after the fact.
Was it some kind of bizarre light reflection that obscured the view?
Shouldn’t there be more than one sniper team on overmatch covering from a different angle?
Why were there no drones in the air surveilling the area?
And if there were, how could they have missed the shooter until after the shots were fired? It is not difficult to spot a man crawling on the roof if you’re above him.
I am not jumping to any conclusions and am far from embracing any conspiracy theories, but this is all very odd.

        1. The FBI and CIA … groomed … this kid. Maybe through ANTIFA chat rooms? Maybe through radical leftist blogs? Maybe through TikToc? 1. Stop it, you don’t know any of it. This is exactly the kind of “know it all on the spot crazy” that I stop treating people seriously.

    1. Jessica
Yer lefty hit piece is nothing if not propaganda. Butt you are too stupid to figure that out, which is conceivably why you are always wrong, on every damn thing you engage in.

      1. And to think that someone wasted a perfectly good asshole by sticking teeth in it and thus creating you….

    1. Turdo is on the same side as the shooter. He doesn’t have a lot to worry about.

  9. I’m surprised it took them this long to try and put a bullet into Trumps noggin.. Failure at this level is always deep into the rabbit hole.. Coulda woulda shoulda.. Bang you are dead..

The democracy loving democrats and their jihad against Trump.. Every dirty trick in the book and then some?..
    Trusting stuff..
