  1. When all is said and done and the thousands of videos have been combed through and the witnesses have all had their statements recorded for history the one big question will remain suspended in doubt and confusion. Why did the security detail gunman on the adjacent building have their tripods and guns already aimed in the direction of the sniper before he opened fire. In the heat of the moment when the first shots rang out and people in the grandstand were looking around to see where the shots were coming from how was it that the gunmen that took out the sniper already had their rifles pointed in the direction of the sniper. They returned fire within a fraction of a second of Trump dropping to the ground. How could they have re-acted so swiftly to ascertain a target, bring their rifles to bear and acquire the target and dispatch the ‘kill’ shot so quickly? I await the explaination with baited breathe.

    1. Need to know how much time passed between bystanders alerting cops about man on roof and the shooting.

How long for cop to alert SS, SS to call up to sniper, ‘hey, get eyes on that rooftop’? Exactly how long before sniper fired?

I can’t find more than a few seconds of video showing the snipers

      1. There is one that shows the police adjusting their line of fire after the shots were fired. It only took about 2 seconds.

  2. oh look. a jfk quality mystery for this generation.
involving a bullet hitting a former/and future president.

    1. lotsa witnesses.
      gobs of video.
and split second timing between shots. all recorded for forensic analysis.
      cue the warren commission !!!!

      1. speaking of jfk, l repeat, l do NOT recollect in the months following ANY news reports a *single* individual gloating and celebrating. l lived thru that day. l was getting a pin prick allergy test and found out within moments from the secretary.

        1. None. And in fact … I learned of it in my 2nd grade classroom … with my female teacher sobbing uncontrollably. We were all released from school early … and I had to go to a friend’s house as my single mother was working. Nobody gloated about it or said “good riddance”.

But we were a MUCH healthier culture then. There was NO SEX or CURSING on TV. Nobody even KNEW what “sagging your pants” meant. There was no gangstah rap. There was NO cancel culture … unless you were a Tranny who showed up to work in drag … but that was a GOOD cancellation.

  3. why is that? at the time, and now, such a contrast. the level of hate
that nation has for its leaders.

    1. It’s in large part a function of social media which allows the instant transmission of anyone’s deepest fears and hatreds with no filter. Any sentiment, no matter how deranged, can be spread for the entire world to see.

  4. Democrats, especially any still intending to vote for a Democrat, are obviously idiots and quite evidently evil.

  5. // why is that? at the time, and now, such a contrast. the level of hate //

    someone begs to differ:
Incredibly, there has been at least a plot on the lives of 11 of the last 12 presidents. Overall, four presidents (Lincoln, Garfield, McKinley, Kennedy) have died from an assassin’s bullet; three others (Teddy Roosevelt, Reagan, and Trump) were shot; another three (Jackson, FDR, and Ford) were shot at. During Bill Clinton’s and Barack Obama’s presidencies gunmen fired shots at the White House but didn’t hit anything. Last May a young man tried to drive a box truck through a White House barrier. Taft, Hoover, Truman, Carter, both Bushes, Clinton, Obama, Trump and Biden all saw attempts on their life thwarted. Arthur Bremer tried to shoot Nixon twice but couldn’t get a good angle on him, so instead he shot George Wallace. […]
Attempts by conservatives to blame liberal rhetoric for yesterday’s events are more than despicable; they’re ahistorical.
This is a deeply and consistently violent country.

    1. According to dizzy d1psh1t:
“Assassination have happened before, so calling the guy literally Hitler on MSM news and commentary every day for 8 years had nothing to do with it.”
I’m surprised you can walk and chew gum at the same time, or is that the rationale behind your sobriquet?

    2. one needs to differentiate between the expressions of hate and actual acts of assassination. all those cases you cited add up to 1 or 2 dozen.
there are a helluvalot more than 2 dozen out there clapping and doing the ‘almost’ victory dance about Trump.
thats what different. the HUGE chorus, cheering on the would be president killer.
lincoln was a special case with the civil war. how many gave a broad loud huge hurrah when Truman was the target? zip? what was the population in Truman’s time?
diff is those who express the hate and those who act on it.

  6. Enjoy the show, folks. The simple fact of the matter is that the intended target just happens to be very, very good at leveraging current events. Everyday he’s made an effort to portray a persona of strong alpha male. Surviving an assassination, then standing up showing a fist (with the American flag waving in the background) while shouting “FIGHT” to the remaining crowd is made to order for someone of Trump’s demeanor. Good or bad depending on your ideology I suppose, but such a scene resonates (which is why the media is not using that footage at all).

Trump is a showman. He’s always been a showman. Where he is weak is convincing the fence sitters that he is a caring, down to earth human being interested in anything other than his own self. So, when he attends the funeral of the unfortunate retired fire chief (and he will). Or, when he makes a point to address those effected by the assassination attempt (while not speaking of himself)…that, also, is going to resonate. Trump knows how to play a crowd. His inability to reach those indoctrinated by the main stream media has always been a problem. The sides have already been divided up with little movement. The idiot who just took shots at him (and missed)…just presented him with the opportunity to remedy that issue if addressed properly and with tact.
