  1. Well Robert … what an absolutely delicious Moody Blues psychedelic selection. The guitar work starting at about 2:50 is just delicious. But I can’t help but wonder if it was inspired, in part, by Roger MacGuinn’s superb psychedelic Rickenbacker riff in Eight Miles High released two years prior …

Psychedelica … the soundtrack of my youth. I only appreciate the nuance and mastery now 50-years on.

  2. That was awesome…thanks Robert.

(so strange for me to see them with short hair and suits…they didn’t look much like that when I saw them in concert in the 70’s…:)

    1. I was a Busboy working for CARA operations at YVR Airport back in the day, the Moody Blues were in the Restaurant one day..& I got to meet them…!!

THRILL of a lifetime – was and remain at 71, still a huge fan of their music..

  3. There are only two Moody Blues members that are still with us. Justin Hayward and John Lodge.
John Lodge just turned 81 on Saturday.
I grew up listening to this band. They were one of my favourites.
Got to see them live back in 1985, with Stevie Ray Vaughn (RIP). It seems like yesterday.

  4. Speaking of poop … fecal fears pile up as hiking trail opens without much needed bathrooms.

    In California.

“Large-capacity cesspools — which serve 20 or more people per day — release untreated sewage, which can contaminate underground sources of drinking water with pathogens, according to the EPA.”

So the EPA shuts the toilet systems down, yet the same number of people still visit the areas and relieve themselves wherever. It’s no longer an EPA problem so – problem solved.

  5. Kameltoe allegedly raised 100m in 24 hours. Really? If that’s the case she should win in a landslide.

Her ability raise money is off the chart. Kinda of like a Hamas casualty report.

    1. Thank you for this.

I look forward to seeing the coverage on our mainstream media.
