Shorter version. There was no SS on the water tower, which had a view of the roof where the failed assassin set up. They left gaps seemingly on purpose.
Addionally:
– the three police counter snipers which directly overlooked the roof from which Crooks fired left their post.
– one went home, we don’t know why.
– one left, or was directed to go look for Crooks. Couldn’t find him, so tried to go back to his post. But he forgot his building access card, (or his didn’t work) so he radioed the third sniper to open the door.
– third sniper had to open the downstairs door for his colleague.
The only problem I have with the video is that Benny Johnson goes on and on about the water tower, and shows you the view from the water tower via his own drone flight. There’s only one problem. He doesn’t fly the drone at what would have been the counter-sniper elevation/view from the catwalk/railing … but he’s showing you a view from the water tower that’s a good 20ft ABOVE the water tower top. Sorry, but that’s NOT the view a SS counter-sniper would have had.
You may say I’m nitpicking … but I hold ALL evidence to the same standard. Truth. Accuracy. Why does it make a difference? Because from the lower elevation at the catwalk … the tops of surrounding trees may have obscured views.
In theory the overwatch could have set up on top of the water tower (there is a ladder to the top) rather than just the catwalk, but even if they didn’t, the water tower is still the highest vantage point for miles.
It would be interesting to go back to previous events and see if their actions (inactions) were the same at those locations. Perhaps there is a purposefulness, but indirectly. In other words, create the opportunity and surely some unhinged leftist with a gun will come along eventually.
I would take Benny more serious if the graphics on his videos didn’t look like he was making the Kamala political advancement face.
Exactly, Orson. And I’d also like to know if Mayorkis and DHS typically make decisions about local PD staffing and/or drone use? Why wouldn’t those decisions rest with the USSS?
At best … DHS conspired to put Trump in a kill box … with multiple opportunities for shooters in a myriad of firing lines.

Just make sure that there isn’t enough to provide coverage, then let percentages take their chances and next 100 events. Someone will get through, find the open gaps.
