He says that some workers won’t be coming back. Some have left the province for friendlier jurisdictions. Some have retired, some have changed careers, some have gone into private nursing. None of those will return and subject themselves to vaccine registries and the risk of persecution in the future.
There are a lot of people in BC without a doctor, and health care is dangerously delayed due to staffing shortages. The shortages were bad enough before Covid, but every effort was made to make the situation much worse.
In my hometown of about 100K people, there were 20K of them without a family doctor. They had to resort to scarce and crowded walk-in clinics or the ER. We left there years ago, before Covid.
Restrictions like we.saw the first time around would be met by mass disobedience. Not so many will fall for this nonsense twice in a row.
