Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

It is hard to find, but important: University of Westminster
David, how do you maintain your sanity researching these ever increasing amount of asinine articles?
[ Demented laughter. ]
I’ve been quite pleased to have chosen clear hardened glass Luminarc Arcoroc Octime from the early 80’s as my tableware of choice, I consider it to be above “river to the sea” type tableware (and yes, they are a “type”)
I have managed to smash a few coffee cups but it’s not impossible to find next to new of this collection in the thrift stores which used to be my primary Saturday am outings. The thrifts are stuffed with new canadians now who I assume buy all my favorite finds from Finland glass (or truly vintage Bodum) manufacturers as well. The good stuff has become scarce these past few years. It’s been awhile since finding the Carlo Giannini Milano made espresso mugs used a few times on Startrek for $1. which I then saw on eBay for $100 US each. Rare finds…
As you can see through my plates ware, there’s clearly nothing to hide here, my plates have “no agenda” straight through to the teak dining table, and as far away in mindset from rubble land in gaza as possible. Though I did think seeing the Lego box of smashed gray blocks and labeled “gaza” was funny, and I still do.
So now it’s “EDI?”
They felt they had to rearrange the letters in the acronym again?
They should understand that with only 3 letters, there’s only 8 possible combinations, and they’ve already used up 3 of them.
I always like “DIE” myself. Has a real ring to it. ~:D DEI is weak-sauce. EDI sounds like an engine management computer.
Look for a re-branding soon. Same manure pile, new advertising slogan.
The absolute pretentiousness of this individual is jaw droppingly astonishing. When you have very little intellect or skills to offer I suppose you are compelled to try and manufacture it. What is almost equally astonishing is that some people are actually buying into this junk.
Hey! That’s DOCTOR to you! Like DOCTOR Jill Biden … this fine intellect has surely received her PhD for having performed (word chosen carefully) this exercise in “whiteness” as her PhD thesis project.
*sigh* … I confess my banal whiteness as I am particularly partial to Royal Crown Derby Imari teacups.

Not only does this reveal the depth of my whiteness … but it reveals my appropriation of Japanese culture as well. Ohhhhhhhhhhhh Mommaaaaaaaaaaaa … how do I live with myself?
I have black cast iron cookware. Will that make up for my pure white Williams-Sonoma place setting?
Are my Pendleton coffee mugs and wok cultural appropriation?
Maybe I could buy some DEI credits to atone for my whiteness.
