I think I read that in the days of sophisticated communications, the RCMP honeypots offered the court only oral testimony. I do recall a drug dealer named Pugliese in Ottawa that was trapped by a honeypot sting executed by the Ottawa police. He was a dirty batard and she was already on the hook for something else, so guess what.
