Josh Shapiro, the governor of Pennsylvania, was completely off-limits because selecting a Jewish person would have outright lost her the electoral college votes from the Caliphate of Michigan. It would have been outstanding to have been a fly on the wall and heard the backroom discussions she had about that rejection. DEI so long as you’re not a Jew. This diversity thing only goes so far, you know. Diversity, Equity, and OOPS. Perhaps it really stands for Diversity, Equity and Infidels.
I suspect all the other rumored candidates decided that connecting themselves to the Kackle Wagon would be political suicide.
