There’s a lot going on in Saskatchewan’s lithium sector these days. I’ll have several stories soon. This is a rather significant one:
Apparently our federal government is asleep at the switch, because our economy is about to come crashing down on us and they’re in la-la land, allowing the entire rail sector to shut down in less than 24 hours.
In Quebec, it’s not just hydro electricity these days.
Boralex announces the closing of a $95 million financing for the Témiscouata II wind farm in Quebec
The Feds are not asleep at the wheel. This rail strike is by design, running the economy off the cliff so we can own nothing and be happy. What do you think happens at the WEF, Bilderburg, G7, UN, etc meetings?
Are we ready?
How can you say the feds are asleep at the switch when one of the causes of the strike is fedgov regulations of Hours of Service?
The feds reduced the available hours of service from 16 to 12 hours, and increased each of the rest periods by 4 hours (from 6 to 10 at home, and 8 to 12 at away), and the companies want to make some compensation adjustments as a result (specifically the held away payments).
CN also offered the union fixed 40 hr a week schedules, but most of the older engineers that already have fixed routes don’t want to move to that, because they might have to do work if they arrive early at the end of their route (RTCs were already on a fixed schedule)
“Asleep at the switch”? Nonsense, everything is going as planned. People are asleep at the switch alright but it isn’t them it’s us.
Re Quebec wind
… the achievement of ESG key performance indicators. Specifically, the measures monitored are CO2 emissions avoided by Boralex’s renewable energy production worldwide and female representation in management positions.
Plants will be deprived of CO2 that makes them thrive and children will be deprived of their mothers
Thankfully there’s no grain that needs to be moved this time of year.
Quebec can have the swindlemills.
