Go Woke, Go Broke

Amandla Stenberg is a hyper-woke, entitled actress. She played one of the main characters in The Acolyte series, which was canceled because of dismally poor ratings. The reviews reflect how truly terrible it was.

Pro Tip: On Rotten Tomatoes, if the critic reviews are high and the general public’s reviews are low, you can almost be guaranteed that it is woke (and really bad) :

  1. “She played one of the main characters . . .”

It wouldn’t have been so bad if she had played one character, but in fact she played two, identical twins, one “good” and one “evil,” but being a woke show everyone in the show was some sort of evil and some sort of imbecile.

But at least the acting sucked, so it had that going for it, which is nice.

Don’t watch the show, watch Disparu and The Little Platoon ripping it apart. Now that’s entertainment.

    1. “I prefer the Critical Drinker. He’s been brutal on disney.”

“That’s all I’ve got. Go away now.”

      (he’s great)

  2. I went to a couple of sites and read reviews on this series, just for fun. I especially like the people who try so desperately hard to defend this pap by accusing the Star Wars fans of being “toxic homophobic review-bombers” and such. Hilariously unaware of the reality that surrounds them. Lesbian space witches? Jedis as the bad guys? Arguing over what pronouns to use for an alien? Invincible teenage girls beating the crap out of skilled warriors? Yeah, what’s not to love, right?

  3. This was Harvey Weinstein’s personal assistant’s fanfic of what she wanted Star wars to be. Her imitation of Sgt Schultz was no more believable than her claim that she respects the source material.

Somehow, she managed to take “Lesbian Space Witches” and make it so boring 82% of the audience hated it.

  4. If you’re interested in being entertained by Star Wars, I have a suggestion. There is a British comedian who specializes in celebrity voice impersonation. His name is Charlie Hopkinson, and his voices are absolutely spot on. He decided to take AI and create characters in his living room that watch, comment and roast current Star Wars material. He does all the voices flawlessly, and AI takes care of the facial portion of the created characters.

Obi Wan, Qui Gon, and Anakin view and review various Star Wars shows including the Acolyte. My favorite, however, is when Qui Gon finds out Anakin became a Sith and Order 66 hits. Qui Gon keeps calling Ploo Kloon…popcorn head. Here is an example of what I’m talking about:

  5. Robert – that massive disconnect between the “professional” critics and users almost ALWAYS ensures the primary theme of the film is gay. Or lesbian. Or Queer+. The PEOPLE are OVER IT!! The critics are INTO IT.

    1. “The PEOPLE are OVER IT!! The critics are INTO IT.”

Lucky for us that the people actually determine whether a movie or TV series is good, and thus profitable.

They can argue “Shut up!” all day long, but that won’t ever change the facts…insult the fans, and they won’t support you. Period.

  6. Amandla [aˈmaːnɮa] is not a name anyone pronounces, but it’s Zulu for ‘power’, but not a ‘loved girl’ (Amanda).

Stenberg, stone mountain, a Danish name as Vikingese as one can go.

And I daresay Zulu names become appropriation quite easily for Stenbergs.

  7. The only parts of this travesty I saw were clips on Nerdrotic, overlaid with him laughing like a hyena. Critical Drinker was also quite savage, and I enjoyed listening to him laugh like a hyena over clips as well.

Best comment today is that Stenberg managed to make “Lesbian Space Witches” boring. So true. More a humiliation ritual for American nerds than an entertainment. And they wonder why incels are so salty all the time.
