1. Always thought Cuban was an accidental success – his persona gives off some cringey little man vibes.

   2. He did basically get lucky. His company Broadcast.com was losing tons of money with no hope of making any for years if ever (exactly the type of thinking “genius” Cuban criticizes other people for when they present on Shark Tank).

      Yahoo panicked because they had recently been passed by Lycos in website traffic, and massively overpaid while also not recognizing Cuban’s site would be worthless once the sources Cuban was connecting to made their own internet presence.

      Basically, his website let sports fans not located in the geographic area of the team they liked access the local broadcasts for those teams.

4. As someone posted previously there is a clip of a guy trying to get into the DNC without having to show ID. Security would have none of it. His response “you mean you would let me vote without ID but you won’t let me into the convention without it”?
