Practically Perfect In Every Way

Toronto Star- Being tired of Justin Trudeau is not a good reason to vote him out

The other day I walked into my favourite bagel bakery and made a spur-of-the-moment decision to buy an everything bagel instead of my usual double poppyseed. I guess I was tired of double poppyseed.

Buying a bagel has insignificant consequences, so trying something different for the sake of change was a low-risk choice.

But would you choose a prime minister in the same way?

  1. Buying a new bagel implies the previous one wasn’t up to the job. Its Sophie’s Choice.

    1. Seriously, having someone leading our nation as compared to buying a bagel???? That should be the first thoughts of the idiocy we are now ruled by. What’s next??? Someone who buys whole wheat???

  2. If you can’t think of a good reason to vote him out, it’s o.k to vote him out for a bad reason. Or for no reason.

  3. “For everyone who has a negative view of Justin Trudeau almost 6 in 10 say they are tired of him…”

Funny, Mr. Bulgutch, must be the difference between city and country. I don’t know anyone who says they’re not voting for turdo because “I’m tired of him”.

Around here they all say “I hate that son-of-a-bitch”.

    1. I’m with you. I think he is misinterpreting people’s response on this. It is hard to ferret out deeper reasons in a survey or interview, but for most people, their rejection of Trudeau is based on much more than just being tired of him or bored with his leadership. I believe he is destroying the country.

      1. Absolutely! This is not about personality – focusing on image and personality is what got JT elected in the first place.
        Not good reasons.
I want him out….but it is entirely about policy. The choices he is making, the policies he is implementing, and the agendas he supports – they are wrong headed, impractical, and are destroying our country.
It’s about policy, not personality. I’ve never met the man, and I don’t care to.
Surveys, like most TV clips, do not delve deeply – they want the one or two word answers.

  4. TorStar/CBC narrows the reason for voting the POS out… to be “because he’s a POS” and not because I’m tired of poppyseed bagels.

I’ve never, not once in my life, been tired of poppy seed bagels, or the sourdough types with the cheddar cheese baked into them. That’s because I’m normal, not because I’m tired of the #Librano POS PM of tier 2 Canada.

Remember when TorStar had printed on their front page, that people who are not jabbed shouldn’t be entitled to health care in tier 2 Canada?

Remember when TorStar referred to the world wide Chinese made scamdemic as “The Gretzky of virus’ ” ?
Why didn’t Wayne sue TorStar for $19 billion ? everything including their union pensions and the dirt upon which the buildings sit?

  5. I know some libs.. They claim they are not interested in politics, while they complain about liberal policy.. Justin gets a new shirt is their idea of fixing things.. Politics, team red in our case..

  6. The contents of the article was no surprise to me.
I was however surprised to find at a bottom, a link titled “journalistic standards”.
    Journalistic Standards.
    At the Toronto Star.

That must have been a pretty thin page.
How can you say “none” in a way that it fills 500 words?

  8. Very interesting story of a Canadian who bought the whole narrative of the Canadian Covid response until she didn’t and what she has created to assist Canadians in speaking out to their elected officials.

And someone in the comments linked to a way to send your displeasure as a Canadian for the Senate Bill getting a second reading on Sept 17 .C-293 .

  9. Was that article meant to be satire, a dig at Coronation Street or just a good old-fashioned insult to a voter’s intelligence?

  10. A department store mannequin would be a better PM than Trudeau. He scares me way more than “unknown” PP.

  11. Childish moron even thought he was listing Trudeau’s accomplishments at the end of the article, unbelievable that we pay guys like him…

  12. If the destruction of Canada and the rights and freedoms of it’s citizens is not sufficient reason to vote him out, then stopping seeking reasons.

    1. Those were my thoughts as well. The buffoon has been on a mission to wipe Canada and white Canadians off the map. I think the guy is suicidal being as he is white, I think.

  13. I need you to write an article that is favorable to Justin Trudeau.

    Long pause…

What if I compare him to a bagel?

  14. List of accomplishments?
    – his handling of the COVID pandemic…..with fascism.
    – Indigenous reconciliation…….incited 100 church burnings.
    – senate reform…..what senate reform?
    – immigration……the deliberate destruction of Canadian society.
-housing…….not even a CBC idiot can believe that is success
    – foreign affairs……Canada is now a laughingstock
    – legalizing cannabis…..and other dangerous drugs.
    – imposing the carbon tax……he’s really this stupid.
    – buying a pipeline……a $7 billion pipeline for $34 billion
    – creating the Canada Child Benefit…..pass
    – the Canadian Dental Care Plan……another fiasco
    – and the beginnings of pharmacare….and another fiasco.
