There have been “flair ups” of this sort of thing a few times in the past decade, I don’t know “why now”? but it is in the news, a signal as to their desperation to escape Africa.
Partly Spain’s fault too, if invaders were treated as invaders and not as simply folks “migrating” from one area to another, the migrant crisis would disappear. Perhaps shutting down the entire welfare scheme would have a similar effect…
