It praised the Local Journalism Initiative, a fund offering 100 percent rebates for the hiring of reporters at a $19.6 million annual cost. The subsidy is separate from a $595 million bailout that pays a maximum $29,750 yearly rebate per employees of government-approved newsrooms.

The word “Progressive” means nothing, unless you explain “Progressing towards What?”

This type of thing really illustrates how delusional the Trudeau Liberal government has become, they think that redefining words will magically change people’s thinking. Erase the meaning of the word inflation, pretend biological men can become women, say natural immunity doesn’t exist…on and on. Then attack everyone who says their new definition are wrong and ridiculous.
Behavioral science and the effectiveness of propaganda has limits. Eventually, if overused, attempts at brainwashing becomes less effective and has the reverse effect. More and more people will not believe anything the government or “experts” say at all. Then all the politicians have left is a weird little cult that becomes increasingly radical because they have zero critical thinking skills.

Prices don’t rise. A more truthful statement is to say the value of currency is going down.
Pushed down by unplayable government debt.
That would change behaviour and put a spotlight on the financial system.
Well at least some of the inflation is “heat-flation” caused by Trudeau’s carbon tax, as every step of production of food in canada pays the tax on one of their major inputs (fuel), and that has to be hidden in the price at every next step along the way.
The other “Heat-flation” is from Trudeau overheating the currency printing presses with his profligate spending.
