  1. Decades ago I went for a run in rural Senegal – at one point my arrival at a certain spot coincided with a bus stopping and a teenage African disembarking…….wearing flip flops he ran alongside me for a while before veering off towards his destination.

I never thought to make an ‘appropriate attire’ comment as I was too busy keeping up with him.

  2. There are plenty of hiking trails throughout central Africa that she could travel to and hike to feel one with more black people.

  3. Maybe white people should refuse to go hiking unless a black woman agrees to Sherpa for them. That’ll set things straight!

  4. Yes, the White Woods are frightening to morons. We certainly are developing and encouraging a strong tradition of self-identification as victims.

  5. I know why a LOT of black women don’t hike? Cause it’s really uncomfortable to hike when their thighs create enough friction to start fires. And they’ve sued Baby Powder out of business … so … no. Just no.

    1. Are you suggesting they wibble-wobble their way up the trail? That their footsteps sound like the thunder of elephants?

Can’t disagree, but must in fairness note I’ve seen a lot of land-manatee out there as well.

  6. Government TV commercials for US National Parks are becoming the exclusive domain of black actors now because the same “problem” was identified by some leftist idiot in Washington.

But a lot of the black women that one notices seem more interested in hiking to the fridge…

  7. I recall that Mountain Equipment Co-op, the ultra-woke purveyor of overpriced camping gear, underwent paroxysms of consternation from its blue haired staff because their customers were too white. Apparently Gortex is racist or something. This would have been just before the company went mams up. I also note that every tv ad for a 4×4 vehicle now must show people of colour out in the woods. As the old song goes, if you go down in the woods today, you’re in for a big surprise..

  8. A total of 340 people have died while climbing Mount Everest (male and female).

I don’t think a single black woman is among them, so climbing Mount Everest is racist. Or, maybe, black women are naturally good climbers.

BTW there is a U-tube video which shows several of the approximately 100 or so bodies still visible to the climbers as they ascend. You can even share a cave with Mr. Green Boots. Climbing is racist and unforgiving.

    1. September 26, 1996 was a rough day on Everest. No black women died but one Japanese woman did. Everest is sooooo racist!

  9. If there were more Black people on those hiking trails, there’d be a huge increase in muggings, petty thefts, rapes and even murder.

    1. Not even that bad. I’ve been to forest preserves near Chicago. Just lots of broken glass and blunt wrappers. Garbage and graffiti. Noise. Didn’t feel unsafe, just unpleasant.
