  1. Wait. Shouldn’t the children’s PARENTS be preparing their bannock (whatever that is?) and jam … and NOT the government schools? Why have children if you can’t feed them?

    1. Good question Kenji. Great question, big question. We gotta lot of questions, but this is a good…great question.

There are a lot of Indigenous woman and girls having a lot of babies up here, some can care for them and that’s great. But many can’t, and that’s not great. And we’re not allowed to point that out, or ask the great questions like “why are they having babies that they can’t take care of?”

  2. Taking care of kids is the easiest job on the planet.

You’re tasked with outsmarting for example (by the look of those books behinds the Deputy PM’s head which never stops jittering from her “meds”) outsmarting kids 6-10 years old, and teaching them something instead of nothing, while trying to keep order and disruptions to a minimum.

Again, teachers are tasked with outsmarting children.
Easiest job on the planet. and 90% of the work which goes into class time, is a repeat of what worked last year while ditching what didn’t work well, with some modest updates to conform to new school sexual policies.

And now it’s a $100k a year job for working about 200 days a year, 8 weeks off in summer, 2 weeks off at Christmas, a week off at Easter or “spring break” and continually getting a tonguebath from all the other union members and politicians – parents who feign exhaustion or mental breakdown from having to entertain children on a long weekend, while being an actual parent is a close second to being the easiest job on the planet.

uff. “what are we doing Saturday? going to the park. what are we doing Sunday? going to a different park, the city map is stuck to the side of the fridge, a green dot at the good parks, a red dot at the crappy parks, figure it out Pumpkin and make a decision… pack a peanut butter sandwich and fill a drink container, bring water and a basic snack for the dog, and the dog’s leash”

    Something like that.

    1. But ask a teacher. They have the hardest job on the planet. Worse than a soldier in an active war zone if you believe them…you forgot all the days off due to “PD days” and “teacher retreats”. They probably work less than 200 days a year and only for 5.5-6hr/day, high school teachers less so.

      But they have it rough.
