The Hitler hoax was played before just prior to the Trump-Biden debate. I know because my 89 yr old Biden loving Dad told me around then that CNN just said Trump admires Hitler. I could find no evidence anywhere but that didn’t matter to him. CNN said it so it must be true. I suspect many others looked into it back then so this time around we’re ready to respond to the lie. That’s why there’s no traction.
