Public consultation is just a formality. The decision is made then the public is consulted. The sole purpose is to find one approving voice.
Joly is corrupted.
It’s a pattern with the Trudeau Liberals and Russian sanctions. They did the same thing with russian diamonds. On March 1, 2024 Joly made a big, public announcement about sanctions, along with other G7 countries. On Sept 15, 2024 Joly quietly gave an exemption for Russian diamonds (blacklocks and western standard).
Most of Trudeau government’s big, grandiose announcement are meaningless public relations exercises. Disregard what they say, watch what they actually do.
