It’s okay, the ‘stories would be reviewed and fact-checked by federal employees before they’re published’.

Then the goobermint would only have to cut one big cheque instead of sending money individually to all the various propaganda outlets. It would be far more efficient that way.
Except they would have a harder time getting payoffs to all their buddies that are now in the different sanctioned outlets.
Not that they would really be bothered about it.
Newspeak from the Ministry of Truth?
The more “trusted” by the government, the less trust should be afforded to these media outlets by the people at large.
Since his coronation, the Spawn has increased federal “employment” by 40%. Now perhaps they are trying to figure out what to do with them all. It would seem logical that many of them are “communications” grads and aspire to write for the “Ministry of Truth” knowing their employment is dependent on the continued reign of the Spawn and his regime.
