  1. PMO chief of staff Katie Telford and the CBC’s David Cochrane meeting.

” meeting ” you must have meant to type,,, planning !

      1. “conspiring and colluding”

        And for the record:
conspire = make secret plans jointly to commit an unlawful or harmful act.

colluding = cooperate in a secret or unlawful way in order to deceive or gain an advantage over others.

  2. While I have always said that there is very little distinction between the Liberal Party and the CBC, given the Simulation’s perverse sense of humor, it is also noted the two “males” in the photo – note (i) that I did not use the word “men” and (ii) assuming they identify as male – even LOOK devilishly alike!

  3. Any doctor pushing pills or stockbroker touting a company has to declare their financial conflicts of interest.
Why don’t the CBC and the rest of the Liberal funded MSM have to disclose their financial conflict of interest?

Is there a Liberal funded journalist with the balls to put a disclosure atop an article that they write about Ottaway politics?
Would they be fired if they did include a disclosure of that financial conflict of interest?
Usually you get fired for NOT disclosing conflicts of interest.

Do we need to send all these Liberal conflicted journalists for re-education ala Jordan Peterson and the Shrink Society?

    1. Global (aka Goebbels) is the only one I ever seen referencing to UNIFOR. But it is right at the end just before switching to another program. The rest say nothing and always report on the unions in a positive light.

  4. Of course, Canadian journalists are rushing to say that this is completely normal.

The problem is that the cozy relationship between the Trudeau Liberals and Canadian journalists supports the suspicion that the media is merely an extension of the Liberal party. After all, the Liberal government pays them. Their MPs have blatantly insinuated (threatened?) journalists on X that those payments should require the media should carefully consider any criticism of the Liberal government. A Liberal senator got The Hill to rewrite an article critical of the government. The Liberal government is even floating the idea of writing articles for Canadian media. Let also not forget that Telford assured the former Liberal MP and Canadian attorney general Jody Wilson-Raybould that Telford would arrange supportive opinion articles for a Trudeau favorable legal decision in the SNC case. This is a few examples of many of suspected collusion.

Canadians are not being ridiculous in their suspicions about the Liberal government and the media, these are suspicions supported by evidence.

      1. I was trying to be diplomatic. BTW, excuse all of the errors and typos in my comment. I usually try to catch and edit them but it’s been a busy morning.

  5. “… supports the suspicion that the media is merely an extension of the Liberal party…”

Of course it does – they are.
Of course nothing will get done – nobody in Ottawa gives a Flying Fickle Finger of Fate.

Remember please, “All animals are equal, but some are more equal than others.”

    1. Yeah, the Liberals and Canadian media still that that saying “Trust us or you’re a crazy conspiracy theorist” are some kind of magical incantation that make all of their obvious bias and collusion disappear. Sorry, guys, we have seen the sleight of hand, the illusion of fairness and diversionary tactics…we know what’s going on.

  6. These people know what’s best for us peons.
Shut-up and pay your taxes and we’ll let you know when and what you can see and hear.

  7. Our intrepid lip readers managed to pick up a few pieces of what Telford said.

Telford: “Now remember, the cons are deplorable, fascist, nazi, garbage. Make sure you work that into your reporting.”

Later on, Telford says, “Abortion, make sure you report that Poilievre will ban abortion.”
Cochrane: “But Poilievre says he won’t make any laws regarding abortion.”
Telford, “The CBC is a news organisation, so start making the news. If you say it enough times, women will believe it.”

    1. ” If you say it enough times, women will believe it.”
Truer than one might ever expect, or a person who still has common sense, could ever understand.
But repeating a lie over and over,,, works!

  8. “So outline for me how I can help sabotage the Conservatives through the CBC.”

At this point there is no longer any shock or surprise in what they’re doing. It’s in their job description.

  9. Likely deciding on what costume the Kokanee Groper should wear tonight:
“Dress like Modi?” “Nope. Already been done.”
“How about like Wendy Mesley?” “Got the wardrobe, but he can’t look that dour.”
“I know… Fidel Castro, with a lobotomy.” “Well, all he needs is the scars.”
