  1. Private enterprise can always do better than government. Instead of striving to improve, government wields its power against any citizen that dares question the government or does a better job than it does.

Any “environment” department is a big offender, but also education and health care.

  2. Oh and don’t forget to tell me how the enfor(ers that terrorized that couple are good people follovink orderz and how only those giving orderz are evil. Bullshit, the enfor(ers share the blame, every last one of them. Jackbooted thugs one and all.

  3. If the squirrel had be named “Hillary” it could do anything it wanted and never be arrested.

In tier 2 Canada, if you buy your squirrel a #Librano Party of Canada membership, it can do anything it wants and never be arrested / deported.

  4. NY State Nazi bureaucrats demanded:
    “Respect my authority, or else!”
” And if you don’t, I will kill everything dear to you!”
And it seems as though they weren’t kidding.

    In response:
Fight against this fascism with all your might:
“No you CAN’T come in my home without a warrant!”
Yes, I CAN and WILL video your every move in/near my home!
Don’t even DARE to point a gun at me, or else I’ll point 3 guns at you!
And don’t even THINK about pulling the trigger. Because I’ve got more friends than you can count, and they’re ALL armed to the teeth!

  5. Off today with offspring to bring cats to vet; cats not thrilled but reasonably co-operative (one drugged beforehand so could get into carrying kennel, which is another story). Took own moggie to same vet the day before and cat was normal bitchy self, handing out lots of thank-you hisses. Staff just laughed; they can handle cats.
Reality is that with any organization used to dealing with animals (wild or otherwise) the workers there know and respect the animals they deal with and understand an animal under stress will lash out. There’s a reason our vet clinic has welder gloves for dealing with the more fractious moggies. There’s also a reason while they have a Code Red attached to some files. But, should a staff member get bitten – the offending feline is not automatically killed. Instead, the afflicted staff member heads to the nearest available medical centre for treatment, while a search is made to check the offender’s vaccine status. There’s a reason the vet has an ongoing prescription at the local pharmacy.
That a terrified squirrel and a racoon were killed because someone was bitten is seriously wrong. The person who sent the local equivalent of the NKVD in to raid this family’s home need to be exposed and charged.
