      1. Soooo … she’s the one who will fine me if I accidentally put a plastic tray in my green recycling bin?

Seriously though … I just received a notification that my local Waste Management company has deployed a team of “lid lifters” who will randomly search through peoples color coded recycling and trash bins. We will be notified or FINED if we have placed any verboten items in any can. Yeah … the Eco Police they live inside of my head …

        1. IKR, you can easily see her clubbing some crying mother, whose children she is then dragging to doctor Mengele.

    1. Remember when NOW insisted that a woman POTUS would be a more peaceful POTUS than a man? Can you even IMAGINE how “peaceful” the world will become if Kamala is allowed to steal another election?

Yeah … WWIII … all blamed on Putin … and Trump

  1. Wanna bet that (i) she wears a fanny-pack, (ii) there is softball equipment in the back of her Subaru and (iii) her Spotify playlist contains songs by k.d. lang (Heather Bishop is too Canadian for her to be familiar with), Melissa Etheridge and the Indigo Girls?

    1. 100% guaranteed.

BTW … I house sat for my boss for a couple weeks back in the early 80’s. He lived in a nicely remodeled classic home in the Rockridge (lesbian) neighborhood on the Oakland/Berkeley border. There are 5ft side yard setbacks between the homes. His home sat slightly elevated above the lesbian group home (that’s what it appeared to be) next door. They either couldn’t afford drapery … or thought drapery was only for effeminate men like Obama … and so their windows were always open to view. All I can say is the things they put on display for me while doing dishes in the kitchen window was shocking! Evidently they’re kind of exhibitionists as well. Oh … and they had a real fetish for chopping wood … with an axe … in the backyard. I’d hear them grunting out back all day and night long. Oh … and no … there were no “porn worthy” lipstick lesbians among them. Nope … they all looked like this womyn … only with a few more lbs and flannel.

  2. Breaking news:
Bullwinkle has been spotted entering a gun shop in New York State…Peanut is apparently a relative of Rocky.

    1. This thing is the one that deserves the most blame. Frankly, all parties deserve blame in this affair. I think it’s generally wrong to take wild animals in as pets, which is what ‘rescued’ means. Sure, injured infants deserve help but the goal should be to get them back out to nature. The snitch above is a resentful ghoul and the government does what the government does. Stop electing governments that deny citizens agency.

      1. generally wrong to take wild animals in as pets

I’m not sure how “generally” you define that.
I grew up in rural Sask. A wild animal that isn’t going to make it on it’s own should be ok to rescue if you’re prepared to care for it (including putting it down if you no longer can provide care). For small animals such as squirrels, gophers and magpies, this usually isn’t a problem. Deer, foxes and bears can become difficult to keep but also difficult to release safely into the wild.

      2. I’ve always been a ‘Critter’ person and have rescued and raised baby animals of all kinds. My parents indulged me but they had three strict rules. I couldn’t take young animals from their nests or mothers. If I failed to properly care for an animal, I had to either release it, or if it couldn’t survive in the wild, I had to surrender it to a zoo or similar organization. And if an animal did not adjust well to being in captivity, (like most racoons when they reach puberty), I had to release it to the wild in an appropriate location where it could survive with minimal human interaction. I had some amazing pets and helped many creatures return to the wild & live the lives they were meant to. People who follow these simple rules are doing nothing wrong whatsoever.

  3. “He/she/it would make a good Sports Illustrated swimsuit cover model”.
Said no one, ever. Not even Stevie Wonder.

    1. OMG – when is Kate going to add a “thumbs up” function to this blog???
I’m giving you a virtual one now

      Kate????

  4. So many John Wick memes today. Appropriate.

I wonder if horses scream when anyone says “Karen Pryzklek”? Frau Blucher was better looking, for sure.

  5. I could just smell an America-hating, freedom-hating, man-hating, lesbian Democrat bureaucrat at the bottom of all this.

  6. Have the Longo’s set up their donation page yet, despite any third party civil suit against the State of New York being handled on a 1/3 contingency basis? I bet they have. I’m not ready to jump on the “trendy” bandwagon yet. New York law is pretty clear about disallowing squirrels as pets.

The true incompetence is that it took 7 years for NY to realize that these people were breaking the law for financial gain. If you don’t like the law…then change the law. But, don’t selectively apply the law (you know, like immigration).

    1. They moved to NY last year, clearly not knowing about the squirrel law. They run a -registered- animal rescue, so the squirrel and the raccoon were not “pets” under the statute.

It develops that the SWATing (that’s what it was) got called in from out of state, by a woman who was jealous of the squirrel’s YouTube success, for clout.

I am by no means an expert here, or a lawyer, but I would venture that there is plenty of meat for a big juicy lawsuit against both the original complainant and against the State of NY for ridiculous overreach on their regulatory powers.

Also wanted to mention that it does not surprise me that this happened in NY State. Their officials are both astonishingly corrupt -and- incompetent. It’s a legal mafia, rotten to the bone. Lived there 4 years, got out as quick as I could.

Pet squirrels are also illegal in Connecticut.

        1. “Pet squirrels are also illegal in Connecticut.”

Rescued animals are also not pets.

(and didn’t Phantom just say that?)

Using your logic, the state could go into any animal rescue organization and euthanize *all* the reptiles, mammals and birds residing there, couldn’t they?

  7. Never Send the Government to do a Middle-Schooler’s Job.
I went out in the yard and demonstrated that it doesn’t require ten agents from five government agencies to dispose of one squirrel.

    1. I use a non-lethal method; a water blaster. The drawback is the awful unrepeatable names you’re called in the squirrel chatter language.

  8. I believe she’s surrounded by supportive functionaries and cultural wind socks and didn’t see the reaction of the Peanut gallery coming. She’s probably as surprised as Kathy Griffin was that her bloodied Trump head was booed. By the way, why isn’t UnMe in this thread yet?

    1. I believe the entry is missing the part where they conducted medical experiments on the squirrel at said black site.

  9. “The Law,” just as the humans that made it, is far from perfect and is prone to be ridiculous at the edges.

Even God’s law, which is perfect, gets so misinterpreted and misapplied by humans that Christ spent a major portion of his time on earth exposing the evil that twists His law. The law should be about God and people and should be applied with the nature of God in mind. The killing of Peanut was power crazed people stomping on the unfortunate target of the day.

    1. I hadn’t seen the cartoon, but I was thinking along the same lines.
Regardless of the legality of the squirrel-as-pet issue, doing anything about it A WEEK BEFORE THE ELECTION was mindbogglingly stupid. Talk about tone deaf.
” What can we do that’ll distract the voters?…”

  10. I took my father in law fishing for a few days….and I come on here to read this!!!
F*cking south park has to be jealous.
    Comments are great.

  11. I just wish people were one-tenth as upset about the treatment of Tamara Lich as they are about this squirrel.

    1. They treated Peanut as if he were a member of the last Trump administration, or had been in Washington DC on January 6th.
