Blagojevich went to jail for trading a political favour for a political favour, something that was never a crime before his conviction and never one since. It was simply a manifestation of the FBI and the justice system putting leadership on notice as to who is in charge. Somebody decided they didn’t like him. It is interesting how he waited 4 years since Trump’s pardon to do endless inteviews. Maybe he got an agent?
He was on the Megan Kelly Show some time ago…maybe two years.
Blagojevic , that is the correct spelling .
A deep state operation by the FBI.
The unjust prosecution of Blagojevich was a message to Obama that if he didn’t follow their instructions, he would be next.
Kinda like Tucker has gone completely insane. Now he’s claiming a demon attacked him in bed. What an utter idiot.
Why would anyone interview any Illinois governor, current or ex, about anything?
Bending over in the prison shower to pick up a bar of soap is the only thing Illinois governors ever get involved in.
He’s an expert in democrat politics from the most corrupt blue state in the union. I assume he knows all the dirty tricks. Could be very useful.
What’s interesting about this is that Blagojevic was nailed for “selling” Barack Obama’s senate seat. From what I can remember of the whole sordid affair was that no money ever changed hands and, freshly elected president Obama wasn’t happy that his chosen candidate wasn’t appointed. For that Blagojevic was taken down, even though it took two trials to get a conviction. I believe the prosecutor was also the one who jailed Conrad Black. In any event, in the interview, Blagojevic describes getting a very nice and high paying job for Michelle Obama, but that did not save him. It will be interesting to see what Blagojevic will have to say in his upcoming book, assuming it gets published. I understand that his brother, Robert Blagojevic, did write a book but I have no idea of its contents, other than he vehemently upheld his innocence since the state also wanted his scalp.
Somehow he got in Obama’s way or the Chicago political machine. I forget the details, but he is scum and I don’t feel sorry he ended up in jail.
