    1. There will never be net zero anything except in the brain power of the idiots who believe such foolishness.

      There is no such thing as “green” energy, there is just energy.

      Nothing that generates electricity can be manufactured without coal, oil and gas.

      This where we are right now and will continue to be here until there is no more coal, oil and gas.

      2. Well, there’s nuclear, and something that’s been around for my entire lifetime, Hydro. Growing up in Quebec, that was our main source of energy.
        Unfortunately, the entire country isn’t blessed with Quebec’s natural resources of hydro electricity. It just isn’t feasible in a land-locked province like Alberta or Saskatchewan.

    The region is known to be particularly vulnerable to torrential autumn downpours, caused by a weather phenomenon known as the “cold drop” or DANA.

    The destructive weather system is believed to be worsening in the wake of climate change

    Otherwise known as the DANA weather system, it has occurred for many years on Spain’s Mediterranean coast but scientists believe it is being made increasingly worse by climate change.

    The increase in torrential rain has likely been impacted by climate change with an Aemet spokesperson telling local media: “It is not possible for air and sea temperatures to be increasing and everything else to remain the same.”

    Spain’s civil protection service did not issue an alert warning residents not to leave home until after 8pm on Tuesday 29 October – too late for the many already trapped on roads.

    Residents have also said the drainage was inadequate, especially for smaller towns near rivers.

    So 3 references to climate change and one sentence each to the fact that residents were not warned and that drainage was inadequate.

    This is the problem with climate change. You can blame all severe weather events on climate change without having to do anything to fix the problems. And for that the King has mud in his eye.

    Normal Canadians call for two third reduction in Liberals.
    Given an election call in less than eleven months and the demonstrated incompetence of this government, it is unlikely that these restrictions will be put into effect before the Libs are flushed, and if they do pull it off, one year from now the CPC will cancel them.
    Libs trying to be relevant in the face of irrelevance.

    1. I’ve lost faith, and grown increasingly skeptical of all elections. As a friend of mine says… We’re not going to vote our way out of this mess.
      I am not that pessimistic yet, but I’m well on my way to getting there.
