Catching Up on this Historic Moment in American History

I fell asleep around midnight (EST) and woke up a little after 6:00am to stunned delight about the Republicans winning the Presidency, the Senate, and the House. I’m not a particularly religious person but fell to my knees and offered a silent prayer of immense gratitude.

This historic moment is something I needed to see with my own eyes.  Given that you might be in a similar situation, here you are: minutes before Trump achieved 270 electoral college votes. Here’s Trump’s Victory Speech.   Steve Bannon’s reaction

  1. Puleeze!! A nutcase has been elected to the White House. I want off this planet. Fly me to the moon!! Oh the horror!! However I will admit, Harris was not a good choice, the Dems need to move to the centre.

    1. “I grew up in a Middle Class family.”
Pretending to be an Indian didn’t work for Pocahontas; and pretending not to be an Indian didn’t work for Kamala.

  2. There was a warm wind from the south last night. And if you listened carefully you could hear things: sobbing, the crackling of burning files; and hammers smashing hard-drives.

  3. So RSBN calls the State of PA and the Presidency for Trump at 1:20 am EST (11:20pm PST). About the same time Fox News called it. So my relieved wife went to bed, and I decided to flip through the other ‘Election’ channels … NBC, ABC, MSNBC, CNN, BBC … et.al. Not a single one had called it for Trump. Not one. They all had Trump sitting on 266 EV’s … so I stayed up to watch for the shenanigans to begin … and waited … and waited … and then finally about 4-hours later … the AP finally threw in the towel as the CIA had no more secret boxes of ballots from downtown Philly. Game Over (for now).

Now … just watch the shitshow they’ll start throwing at Trump. Sayyyyy … does the President-elect get upgraded SS protection? Over and above the presidential candidate? He’s gonna need it.

  4. Looking forward to Melania’s second turn in 8 years redecorating the White house. Gonna be tough polishing all those drool stains out of the top of the Resolute Desk.

    1. And God knows what Trans and Gay bodily fluids will need to be shampooed out of the carpets … and scrubbed off the furniture.

      1. I’m sure the cleaning crew got a lot of valuable experience when the Clintons moved out. Hopefully the Bidens leave some of the artwork behind.

  5. I am so happy – I had great trepidation about this election. This has been an “annus horribillis” for me. First my sister/best friend died suddenly in March and then last week, my oldest nephew died at 39. Lots of change, and none of it good until I opened smalldeadanimals. Nothing is on my msn opening page about the election. All a bunch of sniveling losers!

    1. My condolences, Big Momma. I, too, had great trepidation about this election. I stayed away from the computer yesterday and just got on with life. This morning’s coffee was the best I’ve had all week!

    2. I am not obsessed with US politics but after the first assassination attempt I said that the picture of Trump with his fist in the air, blood on his cheek and the US flag in the background was going to be a historically iconic photograph. IMO, that was the moment he won the presidency. Everything after that was desperation plays by the Democrat Party and their allies. X-Twitter creating a free speech zone was also essential as it diminished the power of propaganda. It will be an interesting 4 years.

  6. Trump just won his third presidential election. There was really no choice here and still scary how close an absolutely vapid candidate got to the White House. I don’t ever want to see her horse face anymore.

    1. I fear I will never lose these nightmares of the anointed one cackling her way through a planet-threatening negotiation with the nation’s fiercest rivals. “What if we played Rock-Paper-Scissors to resolve that last point?”

  7. If Trump actually delivers on his promises, this indeed a new day for America and the world. God bless Trump and guide his Presidency.

  8. I’m shocked that the votes were counted, and the election called within hours of the polls closing. Shocked. It’s almost as if we ARE the most technologically sophisticated nation in the world.

But why do I have a nagging feeling that there’s another shoe going to drop somewhere? Because the Dem’s will do what Dem’s do?

  9. I notice Trump has 276 electoral college votes to Harris’ 223. Does this not mean that several votes have still not been assigned. There are 4 states still counting – NV, AZ, MI and AK. Trump is leading in all 4. This represents over 30 more votes. Does this mean Trump will pass 300 to Harris’ 223? That would be a massacre. If I was a Hollywood superstar I’d be cashing those “support” cheques ASAP, and looking for real estate in Canada 🙂

    1. If the associates of Weinstein, Epstein and Diddy no longer have credibility with working class voters, that is a long overdue victory in itself.

  10. I’ve been hunting for a hard noded assessment of the outstanding votes. A couple of the swing states don’t seem to be that solid, and I can see a path for her to catch up to his popular vote. Don’t count your chickens yet.

    1. We’ll Always Have Fani.
The lingering threat of lawfare is certainly in the air. There is nothing Biden’s corrupt DOJ won’t do.
