If Women Ran The World

The billion dollar campaign ended $20 million in debt;

Ok so this just got very explosive. A Kamala campaign staffer who saw these posts called me just now and said there is a massive scandal here worthy of an audit.

The $20 million debt thing is real. Rob Flaherty, this staffer said, is currently shopping around the Kamala fundraising email list to anyone who wants it to try to raise the money back. This includes other campaigns and outside groups.

Flaherty is the deputy campaign manager and reports to Jen O’Malley Dillon.

“Jen blew through a billion dollars in a few months and it was all Jen’s idea to do all the concerts.” — Kamala campaign adviser told me

This source added that O’Malley Dillon did these “concerts,” like Katy Perry, Lizzo, Eminem, Bruce Springsteen et cetera at the expense of “prioritizing and spending money on social media and other campaign priorities.”

Apparently a group in Georgia had to lay off 100 people because they couldn’t pay them.

It’s unclear at this time if the campaign PAID the talent to perform but the cost of production for the events was “immense.”

What’s more, this Kamala campaign staffer said several people who were working for the Kamala Harris for President campaign are still awaiting several overdue payments they were promised for their work. IE, they didn’t pay the staff.

  1. Who in their right mind would do or provide anything for a political campaign without seeing the money up front and clearing the bank?

    There’s a rich history of campaigns spending money they don’t have and stiffing vendors. Worse yet, if the candidate loses, there’s no one who’s going to contribute further to the campaign so that debts can be paid off.

    I doubt that anyone is going to cough up the $20 million shortfall of the Kamalala/Tampon Tim campaign. Maybe the vendors can take it out in trade? She’ll just need to put her head down and get to work paying off that debt.

  2. Not surprised, and really don’t care. The only sure thing is the lame stream media won’t report it.
    The entire campaign was bizarre and unfocused. I do wonder how the big wig donors feel about the wasted money, but I have no sympathy for them either.

  3. What the staffer is implying is a bit more egregious than reckless spending. He is stating that they are in need of an audit to find out where all that money went. That suggests that part of that Billion might have found it’s way into private account(s). My understanding is that an itemization must be provided under the Federal Election Act, and the petty cash part of that Act does not allow payments over $100 per person from that fund. Disbursements of higher value as well as campaign payments are allowed of course. But, all must be reported down to the penny.

    Now I really want to know why Nancy Pelosi was so angry and arguing with Harris staffers at the concession speech today.

    1. “part of that billion might have found its way into private accounts.”
      Or they just hired their friends as stage techs at $150,000 a pop at the concerts. Of course this happened. It’s low rent Kamala and her low rent, knee pad wearing posse.
      I saw Pelosi at the speech today. Wonder what she was animated about.
